Pho Prime, LLC is seeking an eager Estimator to join our growing team in Columbus, OH. You will work with our project team and clients to develop high-quality estimates for various commercial roofing projects. The role requires hands-on site involvement and a willingness to learn and refine estimating skills.

The ideal candidate will have strong MS Office skills, report writing ability, and a collaborative mindset. Travel to job walks and site visits is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Microsoft Office suite software.
• Ability to write highly effective reports and proposals.
• Willingness to travel and work with diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specs, and proposals to prepare material quotes and bid abstracts.
• Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for management planning and bids.
• Consult with subcontractors and vendors to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Purchasing, and Management during bids.
• Organize a centralized cost estimating database to ensure historical data usage.
• Identify cost trends to support cost reduction and process improvements.
• Understand manufacturer product warranties and apply to estimates.
• Estimate prices on change orders for existing contracts.
• Attend pre-construction and bid meetings and review drawings.
