Job summary

JB Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is hiring for a Commercial Roofing Tech I in Akron, OH. The role requires supervising roofing crews, performing installation and maintenance of commercial roof systems, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

You will communicate with clients and management, manage paperwork, train junior staff, and coordinate daily project tasks. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive pay and company benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, supervisors and coworkers.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work at varying heights.
• Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Oversee roof removal and installation of commercial roofing systems (Bur, modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC).
• Perform maintenance and repairs to roofs.
• Follow job specifications and safety guidelines; maintain client interactions.
• Manage roofing crew, complete required paperwork, assist in training and report daily activity.
• Track inventory and prepare daily reports.
