Job summary
JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman / Lead Man to lead field crews and oversee day-to-day operations on high-quality commercial roofing projects in the Tiffin, OH area. This hands-on leadership role reports to the Project Manager and emphasizes safety, productivity, and job-site supervision.
You will plan daily activities, review plans, ensure adherence to specifications, and coordinate with contractors and customers.
Qualifications
- Leadership in roofing crews and field operations.
- Hands-on experience with commercial roofing systems.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Strong safety awareness and OSHA practices.
- Clear communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct roofing crews on commercial projects.
- Plan daily work activities and assign tasks.
- Coordinate with Project Manager to maintain schedules.
- Review plans, specs, and requirements for jobs.
- Monitor quality to meet specs and manufacturer guidelines.
- Track progress and report needs to Project Manager.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety activities.
- Ensure proper use of tools and equipment.
- Complete daily job reports and paperwork.
