Job summary

Roofing Talent America (RTA) is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Account Manager in Jackson, MS to win new business and grow long-term partnerships. You will manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to project completion, collaborating with estimating and production teams to deliver value.

The role emphasizes prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and building a robust pipeline across Mobile and the surrounding territory with uncapped commission.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience in account management or a comparable consultative sales role.
• Knowledge of construction techniques and commercial roofing systems; previous commercial roofing sales experience is a strong advantage.
• The confidence to prospect, present, negotiate and close.
• Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage a pipeline alongside established accounts.
• A willingness to get out into the field, inspect roofs and work safely at height.

Responsibilities

• Own opportunities and grow strategic accounts from first contact to project completion.
• Present proposals, negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure smooth handover and positive customer experience.
• Build a qualified pipeline, forecast sales and identify opportunities within existing accounts.
• Maintain relationships to generate repeat business through post-project discussions.
