Job summary

Holland Roofing in Minnesota is seeking a Service Crew Lead/Field Service Supervisor to diagnose, repair, and prevent leaks on commercial roofs. Lead a small crew (1–2) and coordinate with facility managers to deliver reliable, high‑quality service.

You will work with EPDM, TPO, PVC, metal, and related assemblies, document work with photos in the mobile app, and participate in an on‑call rotation. A valid driver’s license and high‑level roofing experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial roofing service with strong troubleshooting and repair capability.
• Proven ability to independently locate and resolve roof leaks.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Solid safety mindset; working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Comfort with smartphones/tablets for photos, inspections, and service reporting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair leaks on commercial roofing systems: EPDM, TPO, PVC, metal, and related assemblies.
• Execute service repairs and remediation safely and efficiently.
• Inspect roofs, document conditions with photos, and develop clear repair scopes.
• Lead and work alongside a small crew (typically 1–2 people).
• Communicate professionally with building owners, facility managers, and internal teams.
• Leverage mobile applications for inspections, reports, and closeout documentation.
• Flag additional service needs when observed.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures at all times.

Compensation: $40 – $50 per hour, based on experience

A day in this role

You roll up before sunrise, check the day’s service tickets, and head out with a compact crew of 1–2. First stop: a distribution center with a mysterious leak. You trace water paths across EPDM, scan seams on TPO, test a PVC penetration, and tighten up fasteners on a metal transition. Photos and notes go straight into the mobile service app. Before lunch, you’ve scoped repairs, eliminated the leak, and advised the facility manager on a few preventive fixes. The afternoon brings a quick inspection, a remediation on modified bitumen, and a call to support an emergency—your on‑call rotation means you’re ready to respond. Throughout, you lead by example: hands on, safety first, customer focused.
