Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have your own tools.
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and mechanical aptitude.
• Must have valid driver license and auto insurance.
• Physical stamina and attention to detail throughout workday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with removal and installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and related components.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize materials and equipment.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications, and assist in equipment rigging, setting, and assembly.
• Support commissioning and startup activities.
• Wire both line and low voltage to heating and cooling equipment.
• Install copper refrigerant lines and condensates to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.
• Install sheet metal (rectangular and spiral) and flex duct systems in commercial buildings.
• Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment.
• Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors.
• Adhere to all company, jobsite, and OSHA safety requirements.
