Job summary

Volarify seeks an Intermediate Carpenter to support commercial restoration projects in Fenton, MI. You will rely on extensive carpentry experience and the ability to work with minimal supervision, assisting with scope development with estimators and running projects autonomously.

Key duties include identifying issues, protecting contents, creating containment, and performing tasks across framing, cabinetry, trim, insulation, and exterior siding. Some travel, nights, and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive carpentry experience and ability to work with little supervision.
• Supervises unskilled labor and coordinates with subcontractors when needed.
• Experience in emergency services such as board-ups and securing buildings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recognize potential problems and request guidance as needed.
• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt, and contaminants.
• Perform flood cutting, salvaging, and labeling of baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc.
• Attend shrink-wrap training and complete 4 shrink-wrap projects.
• Identify insulation types, thickness, and R-values.
• Perform tasks across framing, cabinetry, trim, insulation, and siding.
• Maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and work under time constraints.
