Job summary

Colt Facility Repair is hiring a General Repair Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs in commercial properties throughout Oklahoma City. The role involves plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building upkeep to ensure minimal tenant disruption.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in commercial maintenance, be able to lift 50+ lbs, and hold a valid driver’s license. OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of maintenance experience in commercial properties.
• Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in commercial settings.
• Inspect buildings to ensure safety and compliance.
• Repair or replace doors, windows, drywall, and fixtures.
• Maintain lighting systems and replace bulbs as needed.
• Respond to emergency repair calls and coordinate with managers.
• Coordinate with property managers to minimize tenant disruption.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.
• Document work orders and repairs for records.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized work.
