Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation is seeking a Commercial Relationship Specialist in Kansas City, MO. The role supports the National team with day-to-day deposits and loans transactions, account openings, and documentation processes.

You will handle overdrafts, transfers, and research, maintain electronic files, assist with wires, and coordinate with Treasury. Excellent detail, communication, and multitasking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Commercial loan documentation processing experience.
• Knowledge of loan documentation and corporate organizational documents.
• Familiar with bank loan policy and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting demands.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Handle deposit account overdrafts, transfers, research history, and issue statements.
• Create/maintain electronic files for commercial customers & prospects.
• Assist with wires and depository products in coordination with Treasury and Commercial Officer.
• Gather documentation to facilitate account openings.
• Provide administrative support for the Commercial Officer (travel, expenses).
• Other duties as assigned.

The Commercial Relationship Specialist role will assist the National team inside the Commercial department on day-to-day transactions on deposits and loans.

How you will spend your time:

• You will handle deposit account overdrafts, account-to-account transfers, research transaction history, provide account statements & maintenance.
• You will create/maintain electronic files for commercial customers & prospects.
• You will assist with wires.
• You will work closely with Treasury and the Commercial Officer regarding depository products for customers. (Gathering required documentation to facilitate account openings.)
• You will provide administrative support for Commercial Officer (travel, expense reports).
• Other duties as assigned.

• You have 2 years of Commercial loan documentation processing experience.
• You demonstrate general knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word).
• You show excellent attention to detail.

• You demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting demands.
• You display above average interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
• You have knowledge and understanding of loan documentation and corporate organizational documentation.
• You are familiar of bank loan policy and regulatory compliance.
