Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation is seeking a Lending Administration Coordinator in Kansas City to oversee processes across Credit and Lending teams, including Consumer Credit, Commercial and Consumer Credit Card, and Mortgage. You will coordinate vendor management, regulatory reporting, and system administration, while handling onboarding/offboarding and cross-functional meetings.

The role requires 4+ years in banking with process/project management experience, exceptional communication, and strong

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 4+ years in banking with 2 years in process or project management, or equivalent mix of education/experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication with strong grammar and punctuation.
  • Ability to self-start, think independently, and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong project and process management capabilities with attention to quality and detail.
  • Proficient in leveraging technology to drive results; able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage processes across Credit and Lending teams, including Consumer Credit, Commercial & Consumer Credit Card, and Mortgage.
  • Coordinate vendor management and expense requirements; deliver regulatory reporting.
  • Serve as administrator for security access, network drives, and systems; process ServiceNow incidents.
  • Coordinate onboarding/termination for applicable roles; build relationships with stakeholders across lines of business.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate agendas/materials, record minutes, and support committees/regulators/vendors.
  • Maintain intranet content and coordinate special projects; support Senior Leadership as needed.

Job description

The Lending Administration Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing processes across the various disciplines/teams of Credit and Lending which includes Consumer Credit, Commercial and Consumer Credit Card, and Mortgage. Specific duties include: Coordinate and liaison on vendor management and expense management requirements with applicable key stakeholders on corporate teams; Coordinate, deliver & monitor required regulatory reporting; Serve as administrator to security access, network drives and systems. Process most service now and incidents tickets; Coordinate new hire onboarding and termination off-boarding for applicable roles; Create key relationships within the department(s) as well as with key stakeholders in other lines of business (Commercial Banking, Consumer, Corporate Compliance, Corporate Risk and Legal); Coordinate meetings for various internal/external groups, committees, regulators, and vendors which could include coordinating agendas and materials, providing content, recording minutes during meetings, etc.; Maintain and coordinate current intranet content and design; Coordinate and conduct special projects as directed; May provide support to Senior Leadership within the supporting departments as needed and requested; Other duties relevant to the role as assigned.

Requirements: Must have High school diploma or equivalent 4+ years of relevant work experience in banking with 2 years in process and/or project management experience OR any combination of education and experience that would be equivalent; Exceptional communication skills with sound knowledge of grammar and punctuation (both written & verbal); Ability to be a self-starter with independent thinking; Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to track and meet deadlines; Excellent project & process management skills; Ability to work with minimal supervision; Ability to leverage technology to drive results; Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for attention to quality and detail; Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications

Compensation Range: $59,085 - $86,922
