Position Overview:

Responsible for working closely with experienced technicians and supervisors to develop skills in preventive maintenance and repairs of store HVAC, ice machines, and refrigeration systems. The role involves completing work orders, data entry in the maintenance system (Service Channel), and responding to after-hours calls with guidance from experienced staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in completing work orders under supervision.
2. Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
3. Maintain records for preventive maintenance checklists.
4. Perform general maintenance on refrigeration, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
5. Process refrigerant use per brand and EPA guidelines (post-EPA certification).
6. Provide routine maintenance on racks, cases, and alarm systems.
7. Update control set-points and troubleshoot refrigeration and HVAC units.
8. Order repair parts and complete repairs on refrigeration and HVAC units.
9. Respond to work requests and emergency calls after hours.
10. Perform additional duties as needed to support business needs and company values.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• EPA Certification (Universal) or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Ability to obtain state licensures if required within 2 years.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift/carry up to 50 lbs., with assistance for 100 lbs.
• Availability for after-hours and weekend emergency calls.
• Excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel daily within the assigned region.

Salary Range:

$23.56 - $35.37
