Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Refrigeration Service Technician to perform operations, repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment. The role requires knowledge of racks, walk-ins, ice machines, and various HVAC components.

You will diagnose issues, perform leak tests, braze and solder, and follow electrical and control system guidelines. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, 5 years of relevant experience, and a Universal

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of experience with similar commercial equipment and a Universal CFC certification.
• Strong oral and written communication required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, replace and perform preventive maintenance on commercial/industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems including racks, walk-ins, ice machines, and rooftop units.
• Perform leak checks and brazing/soldering; pipe fitting as needed.
• Understand refrigeration cycles, superheating/subcooling, TXV/Orifice operations.
• Work with the Dispatch Team to complete workload efficiently and safely.
