Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to providing high-quality service to customers.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing systems, performing preventive maintenance, and communicating effectively with customers.

Qualifications

EPA Section 608 certification required.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights, weekends, and emergency calls.

Responsibilities

Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration systems and related equipment.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment to minimize downtime and equipment failures.
Work on walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in units, ice machines, refrigerated display cases, prep tables, and other commercial refrigeration systems.
Check refrigerant levels, locate leaks, and perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging as required.
