Job summary

CoolSys in Greenville, SC is seeking a skilled HVAC service technician to repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment for commercial customers.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and work across supermarkets and convenience stores. Strong safety and driving record required; on-call rotations and physical stamina a must.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required.
• Minimum 1+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with supermarket display cases and rack systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand or sit for long periods.
• Good driving record; able to work independently; on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs.
• Repair equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Test malfunctioning systems using electrical and mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible records of work history and tickets.
• Support by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.
• Assist with pickup, delivery, and installation of cases.
• Work on minor construction and startup of new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely; perform other duties as assigned.
