Commercial Refrigeration Technician

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration and food service equipment. This is a hands‑on position for a technician with strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of refrigeration systems.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Service equipment including walk‑in coolers, freezers, reach‑in units, and other refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration‑related issues.
• Install, repair, and replace refrigeration equipment and components.
• Use pressure and temperature readings to diagnose system performance.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating efficiently.
• Work with commercial food service and refrigeration equipment.
• Identify equipment issues and determine the appropriate repair solution.
• Safely operate tools and equipment and lift materials up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide quality service to customers.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Technician, HVAC/R Technician, or Service Technician.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and refrigeration cycles.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues.
• Experience working with commercial refrigeration and/or food service equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
