Job summary

Whaley Foodservice seeks an experienced service technician to diagnose and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC systems. You will work with branch offices to order parts, communicate with customers, and complete service tickets, ensuring quality and timely resolutions.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of maintenance experience, especially with commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Three years maintenance experience to include repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.
• Strong HVAC experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and driving record must align with safety standards.
• Excellent customer service skills and stable work history.
• Ability to work independently and complete required paperwork.

Requirements

Working / Environmental Conditions

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
• Repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.
• Extensive daily travel to work site location.
• Exposure to hot grease from fryers.
• On-call weekend rotation (frequency varies with branch size).
• Occasional to frequent exertion in high temperature environment (over heated kitchens, rooftops, etc.).
