Job summary

Whaley Foodservice seeks an experienced technician to troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment across on-site locations. You will coordinate parts with the branch and communicate repair status to customers and management, while maintaining company vehicles and tools to high standards.

The role requires a reliable, independent professional with a strong customer service mindset and a proven work history. On-call duties and travel are involved.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years maintenance experience to include repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment. Strong HVAC experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record must align with our safety standards.
• Completion of a background check and drug screen is required.

Working / Environmental Conditions

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
• Repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.
• Extensive daily travel to work site location.
• Exposure to hot grease from fryers.
• On-call weekend rotation (frequency varies with branch size).
• Occasional to frequent exertion in high temperature environment (over heated kitchens, rooftops, etc.).
