Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking an HVAC technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems across assigned stores. You will handle work orders, data entry, and after-hours calls, while ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met.

Required are a High School diploma, EPA Universal certification, and 3+ years of related experience. A valid driver's license is essential for daily travel within the region.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Certification (Universal).
• State Licensures, if required.
• 3+ years' experience in a related field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel daily to assigned stores in company vehicle.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform and/or oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, lighting and related systems.
• Plan and generate work to be performed; obtain tools and materials; log work orders in system.
• Inspect facilities and suggest improvements; troubleshoot refrigeration and EMS controls.
• Advise store managers on repairs and upgrades; ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Update control set-points for refrigeration and EMS; troubleshoot electrical controls.
• Assist in timely and cost-effective repairs of building components; respond to after-hours calls.
