Job summary

Centro Escolar University is seeking a motivated undergraduate intern to support underwriting processes in a dynamic commercial real estate setting. You will contribute to market surveys, lease reviews, and financial analyses while gaining practical experience in client, property, and market research.

You will assist in preparing materials for clients and capital sources, inspect properties, and help maintain contact databases and pipeline reports.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate sophomore or junior actively pursuing a degree.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Interest in commercial real estate underwriting, modeling, and financial analysis.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exposure to property types including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, and lodging.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide underwriting support for current deals, including market surveys, lease reviews, and financial analyses.
• Assist in client, property, and market research.
• Support in preparing marketing materials for clients and capital sources.
• Inspect real estate and surrounding land uses.
• Help maintain a contact database of customers, capital providers, and others in the commercial real estate and finance industry.
• Contribute to the maintenance of office pipeline reports.
• Perform ad hoc special projects.
