Job summary

Hankin & Pack PLLC is a dynamic, growing commercial real estate law firm in Charlotte, NC, seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal / Closer. You will own commercial transactions from inception to post-closing, handling land acquisition, development closings, and lot takedowns for homebuilders across NC, SC, and GA.

The role requires NC/SC closing experience, attention to detail, and strong communication with developers, lenders, title underwriters, and counsel.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial real estate closing experience with a law firm, title company, or lender.
Experience closing in North Carolina and South Carolina is required; Georgia preferred.
Qualia experience a plus.
Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple active files and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Own full-file commercial real estate transactions from opening through post-closing.
Support land acquisition, development closings, and lot takedowns for homebuilders.
Review title commitments, surveys, and ALTA/HUD settlement statements.
Coordinate pre-closing items, and ensure smooth closing logistics with lenders and counsel.
Maintain client service standards and respond to emails per firm policy.
Close multi-state files (NC, SC; GA closing preferred).
