Job summary

Hankin & Pack PLLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal/Closer to own transactions from start to finish across NC, SC, and GA. The role focuses on commercial deals, land acquisitions, development closings, and lot takedowns for homebuilders.

You will manage diligence, surveys, title, lender requirements, and post-closing obligations while maintaining high client service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial real estate closing experience with a law firm or title company.
• Experience closing in NC and SC required; GA closing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial real estate transactions from opening through post-closing.
• Support land acquisitions, development closings, and takedowns for homebuilders.
• Coordinate title, surveys, diligence items, and lender requirements.
• Prepare and revise settlement statements and coordinate funding.
• Serve as primary contact for buyers, sellers, developers, and lenders.
• Meet client service SLAs and manage timelines with proactive communication.
• Prepare closing packages and handle remote or in-person notarization as needed.
• Ensure multi-state compliance and timely post-closing deliveries.
