Hankin & Pack PLLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal / Closer to manage commercial transactions from contract through post-closing. The role focuses on land acquisition, development closings, and lot takedowns for homebuilders across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

The ideal candidate understands how a file moves from diligence to recording and post-closing deliverables and collaborates with developers, lenders, and title professionals.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of commercial real estate closing experience with a law firm, title company, or lender
• Experience closing in North Carolina and South Carolina is required; Georgia is preferred
• Must have experience in closing software; Qualia experience is a plus
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple active files with deadlines
• Humility and teachability; strong task management in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-centric mindset; strong communication and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma required; Paralegal certificate a plus

Aufgaben

• Full-file ownership of commercial real estate transactions from opening through post-closing
• Land acquisition support, title, surveys, and diligence tracking
• Development closings coordination of plats, easements, and development agreements
• Lot takedowns for homebuilders and coordination with lenders and sellers
• Review commitments, final title documents, and curing title issues before closing
• Prepare and revise ALTA/HUD settlement statements and reconcile closing figures
• Coordinate closing logistics with buyers, sellers, developers, lenders, and counsel
• Multi-state practice: NC/SC experience required; GA closing preferred
