  • Experience supporting real estate transactions or interest in real estate law.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.

  • Support attorneys with a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and related matters.
  • Prepare, review, organize, and coordinate transaction, closing, title, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with title review, due diligence, legal research, and corporate research.
  • Coordinate closing activities and communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, opposing counsel, and other transaction parties.
  • Assist with post-closing matters, including title policy review, recording, file maintenance, closing binders, and other follow-up requirements.
  • Assist with entity formations, corporate governance, annual filings, and compliance matters.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files.
  • Provide general administrative and transactional support to attorneys as needed.

LHH is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a well-established law firm in Charlotte. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to support a busy real estate practice and work on a variety of sophisticated transactions while gaining exposure to related corporate and business matters. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience supporting commercial real estate transactions from initial due diligence through closing and post-closing.

Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys with a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and related matters.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and utilize legal technology platforms.
Qualifications
  • Degree or certificate in paralegal studies.
  • Experience with commercial real estate transactions, title review, closings, and post-closing administration.
  • Experience with entity formations, corporate filings, governance, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with legal practice management, document management, closing, recording, or trust accounting software.
