Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a CRE Transaction Specialist to support commercial real estate capital markets transactions from handoff to closing and post-closing follow-up.

You will coordinate activities, manage documents, and ensure a high-quality client experience with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires 7+ years in commercial real estate or related fields, a degree in real estate or finance preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in real estate, business, finance, or related field.
• Equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Minimum 7+ years in commercial real estate, lending, or related transactions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transaction process from handoff to closing and post-closing follow-up.
• Maintain workflows, checklists, and documentation for deal-related information.
• Collaborate with originations, underwriting, legal, lenders, title, and clients to close deals.
• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact during execution.
• Track due diligence and closing conditions to mitigate delays.
• Assist with preparation of lender packages and closing documents.
• Maintain transaction records and reporting for pipeline visibility.
• Identify process gaps and contribute to workflow improvements.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
