Job summary

Partners Legal Search seeks a Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its Hartford, CT office. This midlevel attorney will handle a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and closings, with direct client interaction and a collaborative team.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of transactional experience, a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school, and active Connecticut Bar status.

Qualifications

3–5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience in a law firm or corporate setting.
Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, development, and/or commercial leasing.
Strong closing experience and ability to review title, survey, and due diligence materials.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills.
Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating with a broader team.

Responsibilities

Handle a broad range of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions and dispositions.
Work on office, retail, and industrial leasing, and on purchase and sale agreements.
Review title and survey, coordinate with lenders, title companies, and other participants.
Draft and negotiate real estate documents and manage closings.
Interact directly with clients while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
