Position Reporting To

Sales Manager

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will adapt and implement sales support strategies using specific technical capabilities for your designated area, aligning with the global support strategy. Your focus will be on supporting configuration and quotation requirements. Daily, you will oversee estimations, bids, and proposals, ensuring they meet ABB standards and targets. You will also provide inputs for bid, estimate, and quotation activities, ensuring timely and quality submissions.

The work model for this role is: #LI-remote.

This role contributes to the Electrification Services division in North America. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Partnering with Business Development Sales Managers and technical support teams to provide cost and pricing for services and equipment, developing work scopes, and creating customer-ready proposals.
  • Collaborating with the regional sales team to understand customer needs, develop deal strategies, and analyze market and competitive pricing.
  • Managing opportunity screening, development, approvals, and pricing processes, using salesforce.com for all active opportunities.
  • Balancing multiple priorities and managing deadlines, working with customers, sales reps, and distributors.
  • Understanding terms and conditions, assessing risk, and ensuring process adherence to government contracting requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, or Field Service
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with industrial power delivery and power distribution systems
  • Technical experience with commercial/industrial customers and processes
  • Experience with government-funded projects, including prevailing wages requirements
  • Strong ability to interface with internal and external customers
  • Legal work authorization for employment in the US
