Job summary

Wasatch Commercial Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain commercial properties, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functional systems. You will work with the property management team to serve tenants and visitors and respond to maintenance needs as they arise.

The role requires knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills, and may include evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in commercial property maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call for emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Prep vacant units for new tenants.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Ensure safety and security for occupants and property.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service.
