Job summary

The Dallas Central Appraisal District is seeking a Real Estate Appraiser of Commercial Property to join our team. You will evaluate properties, analyze market trends, and prepare reports detailing estimated values to ensure accurate appraisals for our clients.

Responsibilities include conducting appraisals of commercial properties, analyzing market data, and ensuring compliance with regulations, while communicating with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; real estate, finance, business administration or related field preferred.
• Degree waiver may apply if RPA registration or 10+ years of active appraisal in last 15 years.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and appraisal software.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain vehicle insurance.
• Must pass driving and criminal background checks and meet state registration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct appraisals of commercial properties (office, retail, industrial, apartments).
• Analyze market trends, sales data and related information to determine values.
• Ensure appraisals comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining methodologies used to determine values.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to address questions or concerns.
