Job summary

Prevail Recruiting represents a standout Arizona general contractor hiring a Commercial Construction Project Manager for Phoenix local projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will own budgets and schedules on $5M–$100M projects, coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams, and mentor Project Engineers while enjoying an employee-owned culture, no long travel, and strong career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project Management experience with a Commercial General Contractor.
• Experience leading projects as the lead PM.
• Strong financial, scheduling, subcontractor, and client-management skills.
• Procore, Microsoft Project experience is a plus.
• Background in industrial, retail, hospitality, infrastructure, or TI construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial projects ranging from approximately $5M–$100M.
• Own project budget, schedule, contracts, buyout, change orders, and financial performance.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Identify project risks and solve problems before they impact schedule or budget.
• Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
• Partner closely with field leadership throughout construction.
• Oversee project documentation, closeout, punch list, and turnover.
• Support and mentor Project Engineers and other team members.
