Job summary

Siemens Energy invites a Commercial Project Manager to lead the financial aspects of New Units projects in Orlando. You will oversee revenue recognition, forecasting, risk management, and profitability while collaborating with project managers to meet contractual and financial targets.

The role requires a finance/business degree, 2+ years in project finance or management, knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and PoC accounting, and strong MS Office skills; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Administration/Accounting is required. MBA or Master’s degree is desirable.
• 2+ years of professional experience in Business Administration or in Finance, preferably with experience in Project Management.
• Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, PoC accounting, and strong skills with Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience is desirable.
• Senior CPM Certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Travel up to 15%; must have the ability to acquire a passport.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with the project managers to complete assigned projects according to defined guidelines and contractual agreements.
• Responsible for project financials including monthly revenue recognition, financial planning, risk and opportunity management, and optimizing profit margins & cash flow.
• Ensure achievement of contract requirements (e.g. performance guarantees, insurance, taxes, contractual, etc.)
• Full responsibility for all finance-related project topics, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign Exchange, and NCM.
• Prepare and present project status reports to various levels of management.
• Special assignments and interaction with internal partners and external auditors as required.
