Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to oversee the financial health of complex wind energy projects from handover through completion. You will act as the project CFO, delivering forecasts, tracking revenue and costs, and ensuring the accuracy of reporting to support profitability.

You will collaborate with project teams, cost owners, and accounting to manage cash, risks, and opportunities, while upselling Nordex values of integrity and ownership across global operations.

Qualifications

• The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• MBA strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of business finance experience focusing on financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities for complex issues.
• Ability to identify financial risks and inform management with contingency plans.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills.
• Experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for the project’s financial profile and performance.
• Track revenue, cost, and margin changes throughout project execution.
• Maintain the Project Report with forecasts, actuals, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly forecast proposals for the Project Manager and Cost Owners.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to understand cost impacts and profitability.
• Coordinate with accounting for reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Understand and communicate project risks and opportunities.
