Wintrust Financial Corp. is seeking a Portfolio Manager, Commercial to support the Middle Market Commercial Banking team.

You will analyze financial statements and credit metrics for portfolios ranging from $20M to $500M in revenue, supporting relationship managers and ensuring risk controls. You will structure and underwrite loans, provide credit recommendations, and coordinate documentation and reporting.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years’ commercial credit experience in corporate banking, middle market or CRE; leveraged lending preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial forecast models.

Mansioni

• Manage an assigned portfolio of commercial customers in partnership with the relationship manager.
• Provide oversight of reporting for portfolio management (delinquency, problem loans, exceptions, tickler tracking).
• Coordinate collection and review of financial statements, tax returns, and covenants to comply with reporting requirements.
• Monitor portfolio for early warning signs of financial weakness and develop mitigation plans.
• Prepare credit packages for annual reviews, renewals, and loan requests.
• Structure and underwrite complex commercial loan transactions in assigned portfolio.
• Provide credit recommendations to credit administration.
• Review and negotiate loan documentation with legal counsel and ensure proper closings.
• Support internal audits, loan reviews, and regulatory exams.
