Job summary

FirstBank Florida is seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager to support the Commercial Banking portfolio. The role emphasizes maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring regulatory and covenant compliance, and assisting in loan closings and portfolio strategies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Relationship Officers and Credit Analysts, preparing closing-related documents, and overseeing pre-closing conditions while supporting audits and day-to-day portfolio management.

Qualifications

• Coordinate with Relationship Officers, Credit Analysts, and other internal teams to ensure timely processing of financial requests and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Relationship Officers, Credit Analysts and internal teams to ensure timely processing of financial requests and documentation.
• Prepare letters and memos related to client loan issues per bank guidelines.
• Respond to correspondence and emails promptly to benefit the customer and bank.
• Oversee exchange of information from clients with loan officers to manage closings and daily activity.
• Review CAM to determine required documentation and prepare the file for closing.
• Order Phase I Environmental & Appraisal Engagement and prepare tickets for applicable fees.
• Prepare disclosures to be signed at or prior to closing.
• Oversee Document Checklist with Closing Officer; coordinate with Relationship Officer and client to satisfy Pre-Closing Conditions.
• Monitor and collect payments on Past Due loans.
• Oversee loan applications for advances, payoff requests, auto debit requests, loan payments, and maintenance.
• Review documentation to open new accounts related to new loan originations.
• Assist Portfolio Manager in monitoring portfolio performance as needed.
• Assist Relationship Officers with post-approval change memos and during audits.
• Assist Commercial Banking team with resolving customer problems per service standards.
• Adhere to BSA, AML, and OFAC regulations and complete compliance training.
• Other ad-hoc duties in support of the region and bank strategy.
• Adhere to Bank policies including BSA, AML, and OFAC regulations. Report suspicious activities and complete mandatory compliance training.
• Other ad-hoc duties as necessary in support of the region and overall bank’s business strategy.
