Job Summary

The Commercial Portfolio Manager supports the commercial loan and deposit portfolios of Relationship Managers, providing quality underwriting, sound portfolio management, and excellent client service.

Essential Functions

• Analyze financial information to evaluate creditworthiness of loan requests and manage ongoing portfolio activities.
• Complete industry research to support existing and new customers.
• Compile comprehensive commercial loan packages, including credit memos, financial analyses, risk assessments, and recommendations.
• Perform detailed credit analysis using advanced tools when necessary.
• Guide loan requests through the credit approval process, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Monitor large commercial loan portfolios, perform covenant testing, and conduct annual reviews.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all loans and approvals.
• Build positive relationships with internal partners and external stakeholders.
• Participate in special projects and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state lending laws, regulations, and bank policies.
