Job summary

Weller Pools, LLC in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced Foreman to lead commercial swimming pool construction across Florida. You will supervise field crews, coordinate labor and materials, and ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on plumbing, concrete, and formwork experience, strong communication, and the ability to read designs. This role requires travel statewide and a commitment to high-quality aquatic facilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and managing construction crews.
• Strong understanding of commercial pool construction processes and sequencing.
• Extensive hands-on experience with formwork systems, rebar placement, concrete finishing, and pool plumbing installation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Lead Superintendent and execute assigned construction activities.
• Lead and supervise field crews while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials required to complete assigned scopes of work.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and layout information.
• Oversee and perform pool construction activities including formwork installation, rebar placement, concrete placement, pool plumbing installation, equipment pad and piping installation, and structural tasks.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans and standards.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA requirements.
• Monitor crew performance and provide training and mentorship.
• Communicate project progress and needs to the Lead Superintendent.
• Maintain daily reports, time records, and material tracking.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.

Build Landmark Aquatic Projects Across Florida

We are a premier commercial swimming pool construction firm delivering complex aquatic facilities throughout Florida and beyond. Our portfolio includes municipal aquatic centers, resort-style water features, competition pools, lazy rivers, and specialty aquatic environments.

This is not an entry-level foreman role. We are looking for a confident, decisive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments.

The Role

This hands-on leadership role is responsible for executing specialized commercial pool construction activities under the direction of the Lead Superintendent. The ideal candidate possesses extensive field experience, a proven history of crew leadership, and advanced knowledge of commercial swimming pool construction methods.

The Foreman will be responsible for coordinating daily field operations, directing crews, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Lead Superintendent and execute assigned construction activities.
• Lead and supervise field crews while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials required to complete assigned scopes of work.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and layout information.

  • Rebar placement and reinforcement assembly
  • Concrete placement and finishing
  • Pool plumbing systems installation
  • Equipment pad and piping installation
  • Structural and site-related construction tasks
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans, engineering requirements, and company standards.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce all company and OSHA safety requirements.
• Monitor crew performance and provide training and mentorship to team members.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and resource needs to the Lead Superintendent.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, time records, and material tracking documentation.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and vendors as required.

Qualifications Required

• Proven experience leading and managing construction crews.
• Strong understanding of commercial pool construction processes and sequencing.

  • Concrete placement and finishing
  • Commercial pool plumbing installation
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Experience with large-scale commercial aquatic facilities.
• Ability to operate construction equipment and tools.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
