Job summary

Westbrook Service Corporation is seeking a Construction Plumbing Technician to install and connect plumbing systems for commercial new construction projects in Central Florida. The role covers underground and above-ground work, with emphasis on blueprint interpretation and safety compliance.

The position requires 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read plumbing plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Plumber.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing systems for commercial new construction projects in accordance with project specifications, blueprints, and applicable plumbing codes.
• Perform underground plumbing installations, including sanitary sewer, domestic water, and storm drainage piping.
• Complete plumbing rough-ins, including installation of water supply, waste, drain and vent piping systems.
• Install above-ground plumbing systems, including domestic water distribution, sanitary drainage, and vent piping.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping using appropriate materials, tools, and joining methods.
• Install plumbing fixtures, equipment, and associated piping connections according to construction plans and specifications.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints, plumbing drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts and installation requirements.
• Coordinate with project supervisors and other trades to ensure plumbing installations align with construction schedules and site requirements.
• Follow all jobsite safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company safety procedures.
• Maintain company-issued tools, equipment, and materials in proper working condition.
