Job summary

Qualifications

• General plumbing experience in food retail or commercial facilities.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

• Flexibility to handle changing scope; nights, weekends, holidays; overtime may be required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize job functions.
• Personal initiative and follow-through to completion.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong PC skills: Windows XP, MS Excel, CPC Ultrasite/Controllers, MS Outlook; Kroger mainframe apps including Viryanet Service Hub.

Responsibilities

• Clean drains, repair/replace valves in toilets, install commercial water heaters, and related plumbing tasks.
• Submit accurate time reporting and vehicle inventory per schedule via company programs.
• Perform preventive maintenance in stores at least twice per year.
• Ensure maintenance expenses meet annual budget guidelines.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
