Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Superintendent in O'Fallon, MO to lead field operations on commercial projects. This hands-on leadership role offers autonomy, direct access to ownership, and the opportunity to guide multiple crews from mobilization through project completion.

You will manage manpower, coordinate schedules, and collaborate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and trades while upholding safety and quality standards on projects ranging from

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of commercial plumbing experience preferred.
• Hands-on field experience with a commercial plumbing contractor.
• Leadership experience as Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Experience managing multiple crews and foremen.
• Comfortable working on projects ranging from $25K to $2.5M+.
• Union plumbing experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership with a practical hands-on management style.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial plumbing field operations from mobilization through project completion.
• Lead and support multiple plumbing crews and foremen while planning manpower and resources.
• Coordinate daily and weekly field schedules to maintain project timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
• Monitor field productivity and resolve scheduling or labor issues proactively.
• Assist with material planning, procurement, and equipment needs.
• Troubleshoot field challenges and provide technical guidance to crews.
• Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety and quality standards.
• Participate in project planning and constructability reviews.
• Help recruit, develop, and retain skilled field personnel.
