Job summary

Signature Mechanical seeks a driven Commercial Plumbing Sales Estimator to grow the Twin Cities metro sales pipeline. The role focuses on developing new business, building contractor relationships, and identifying commercial plumbing opportunities from preconstruction through award.

The ideal candidate has experience in commercial plumbing, mechanical construction, estimating, project management, or construction sales, with strong knowledge of the construction process and market dynamics.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has experience in commercial plumbing, mechanical construction, estimating, project management, or construction sales.
• Strong understanding of the commercial construction process and lifecycle.
• Ability to build relationships with contractors, engineers, architects, and owners.

Responsibilities

• Generate new commercial plumbing revenue and meet/exceed sales targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with commercial plumbing and mechanical contractors, general contractors, engineers, architects, and owners.
• Identify upcoming construction, renovation, tenant improvement, retrofit, and replacement opportunities.
• Develop project opportunities during design, specification, preconstruction, estimating, and bidding stages.
• Review plans and specs to identify opportunities and requirements.
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and project-specific solutions.
• Gather business intelligence to support prospecting, bids, proposals, and new business generation.
• Maintain a strong network of industry professionals and conduct visits to develop opportunities.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, contractor meetings, and industry events.
