Job summary

SAFEbuilt is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Inspector for a large data center project in Grand Prairie, TX. You will perform field inspections, read and interpret plumbing plans, and ensure compliance with IPC and Texas regulations across all construction phases.

Ideal candidates have a Texas Master/Journeyman Plumber License, TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License, and strong communication skills to coordinate with contractors and project teams. Local travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of IPC and Texas plumbing regulations with field application.
• Minimum three years interpreting plumbing codes and providing solutions in the field.
• Strong communication with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Capable of organizing reports, documentation, and electronic records.
• Experience with commercial plumbing inspections on large projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections during all phases of commercial plumbing construction on a data center project.
• Inspect plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, and related installations for code compliance.
• Read and interpret commercial drawings, plumbing plans, and engineering documents.
• Provide code-compliant recommendations and explain findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports and electronic records.
• Perform other related duties as required.
