Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a plumbing estimator, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specs, and contracts to develop accurate plumbing estimates.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with PMs, subs, and suppliers to obtain quotes and pricing.
- Evaluate site conditions to ensure all work is included in the estimate.
- Present and explain estimates to clients and address questions.
