Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Estimator to prepare and coordinate complete plumbing and piping estimates for commercial, institutional, healthcare, industrial, and public works projects.

The role requires interpreting field conditions and client documents to develop accurate quotations. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of plumbing estimating experience in commercial construction, with strong technical writing skills and the ability to read and interpret drawings and plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of plumbing estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Broad understanding of plumbing systems (domestic water, waste, drainage, etc.).
• Experience with tooling, machining, fabrication, or construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Gather information for each estimating job from account managers, end users, and teams.
• Interpret field conditions to determine project direction and costs for retrofits.
• Interpret drawings, specs, and requirements for quotation strategies.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering and sales to develop winning quotations.
