Cogent Analytics is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Estimator for a well-established plumbing contractor in the Cleveland, OH area. The role focuses on accurate estimates for new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements, with emphasis on strong communication with clients and project teams.

Qualifications include five years of estimating experience, knowledge of local plumbing codes, and proficiency with FastEst and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a plumbing estimator, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to develop accurate plumbing estimates.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers for quotes.
• Evaluate site conditions and scope to ensure all work is included in the estimate.
• Present estimates to clients and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain records of estimates, bids and related documents.
