COMMERCIAL PLUMBING ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER - TOP PAY!!!

Job Duties:

• Support superintendent, APM, & foreman for day to day needs
• Forecast and schedule manpower
• Attend job meetings
• Track progress and report timelines to management for billing
• Identify and resolve project obstacles and risks
• Price & track project change orders
• Coordinate subcontractors
• Oversee proper completion of all closeout documentation
• Guide team members and assist with needs
• Manage & build customer relationships
• Completing required tasks assigned by management
• Review and interpret complex construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications related to commercial plumbing systems.
• Develop detailed cost estimates by accurately estimating material requirements, labor costs, equipment needs, and subcontractor services using tools like FastPipe and Bluebeam.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates reflect project requirements and site conditions.
• Monitor project budgets throughout the bidding process and during construction to maintain cost control and identify potential overruns early.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to gather on-the-ground information that influences accurate estimation and planning.
• Review construction contracts, manage change orders, and ensure all estimates comply with contractual obligations and safety standards.
