Job summary

Sunstate Mechanical Services in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Commercial Plumber to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for industrial and commercial facilities. This full-time, permanent role requires traveling across the greater Phoenix area to varying job sites.

You must have a personal tool kit, pass drug and background checks, be eligible to work in the U.S., and be able to lift up to 30 lbs. English proficiency is required.

Starting pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities.
• Maintain, repair, and install sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals.
• Unclogging stopped up sinks and fixing pipes that don\'t allow water to flow freely, and possibly work on Hot Water Heaters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed.

Hourly Rate: $25-$35(DOE)

Location: Office Location is2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282. This job does require travelling across the greater Phoenix Area (sites will vary based on the job)

Requirements:

• You must be 18 years old.


• You must be eligible to work in the U.S


• You must be able to pass a drug test.

• For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.


• You must have your own tool kit.


• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.


• Able to lift up to 30lbs.

Job Duties:

As you might expect, plumbing and customer serviceis at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities.


• Maintain, repair, and install sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals.


• Unclogging stopped up sinks and fixing pipes that don\'t allow water to flow freely, in addition to possibly working on or with Hot Water Heaters.


• Effectively communicate with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed.


• This position will primarily be with construction with the ability to move into the service department.


• Responsible for teaching apprentices.


• Additional duties as required
