Commercial Plumbing Foreman at Sunstate Mechanical Services

Hourly Rate: $35-50 (DOE)

Location: 2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282. This job requires traveling across the greater Phoenix Area (sites will vary based on the job).

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
• Must be able to speak English.
• Must have your own tool kit.
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Job Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities.
• Maintain, repair, and install sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals.
• Unclogging stopped up sinks and fixing pipes that don’t allow water to flow freely, in addition to possibly working on or with hot water heaters.
• Effectively communicate with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed.
• Responsible for teaching apprentices.
• Manage and supervise the mechanical and plumbing on construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Coach crew members to ensure projects are safe and efficient.
• Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest level of workmanship.
• Prepare regular reports on project status, including daily progress updates.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle during work hours.
