Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Commercial Pest Control Technician to perform industry-leading pest management for commercial properties. You will identify pests, apply treatments, and advise clients on prevention, while complying with safety regulations and delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves inspections, product applications (chemicals, baits, traps), and educating customers on long-term prevention.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Availability to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed.
Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication.
Basic math skills; follow product label instructions.
Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us).
Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations and entry points.
Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to eliminate pests safely.
Educate customers on pest prevention methods and long-term protection.
Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with sales to current and new customers.
Maintain and stock pest control equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations on pest control products and safety protocols.
Operate a company-provided service vehicle and perform routine maintenance as needed.
