Job summary

Rentokil North America is hiring a Commercial Pest Control Technician to perform inspection-based pest management services for commercial clients. You will identify pests, determine infestation types, apply treatments, and provide preventative strategies while communicating clearly with clients about pest control solutions.

You will operate in compliance with safety regulations, maintain equipment, and support sales by expanding services to existing and new customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and instructions precisely.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Valid driver’s license required; company vehicle provided where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, following safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
• Provide advice on reducing risk of future infestations and build customer relationships.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, support sales to current customers, and expand product offerings to new customers.
