Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Commercial Pest Control Technician to perform industry-leading pest management services for commercial customers.

The role involves inspecting client properties, applying approved products, educating customers on prevention, and building lasting relationships while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements. A valid driver’s license and ability to work varied hours are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills - operations in all units; follow product label instructions.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
• Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm their appointments, assist with sales to current customers, and expand products to new customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle.
