Orkin is seeking a Commercial Pest Control Technician to protect customers' properties across the Kansas City area. You’ll begin with award-winning training and then manage a designated service route, delivering safe, effective pest control solutions.

You’ll drive a company vehicle, earn a competitive salary with benefits, and have opportunities to advance as you gain experience. No industry experience required to start—Orkin will train you.

Formación

• Paid training is provided.
• Experience in skilled trades or service industry preferred.
• Experience in a professional driving/route management role preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Complete award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that would give them peace of mind about their pest management.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property—don’t worry, we teach you how!
• Communicate with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that would give them peace of mind about their pest management program.
• Complete all required service-related documentation in a handheld device provided for speed and accuracy
